Fancy Rice Intertrade’s history traces back to establishment of TRR rice mill. TRR Rice Mill was founded as Tekrungrueang Rice Mill Partnership in 1992 as a small family-operated rice manufacturer whose production capacity is 250 metric tons per day.  The headquarters of TRR Rice Mill are anchored in a center of rice field in Suphanburi, Thailand (about one hour driving from Bangkok).

The early mission of TRR Rice Mill focused on improving the principles of rice processing. The firm carefully managed quality control to ensure a rapid growth within domestic market. They have also continually been committed to improving and developing the highest quality of rice products to better serve and meet the customers’ satisfaction as well as incessantly dedicating to the well-being of the Thai society.

During 1997, TRR Rice Mill was the first rice firm in Suphanburi, Thailand to employ the most advanced rice sorter from Korea to ensure the best quality of finished rice grain without contamination. Its sorting accuracy gave the best yield and efficiency even at the highest production capacities. It immediately became our most important strength to stay in business.

TRR Rice Mill has rapidly become a national leading supplier for Thai rice exporters.  The company started to receive numbers of international orders from Asian market and decided to establish “Fancy Rice Intertrade” company as its subsidiary in year 2000. Fancy Rice Intertrade’s main markets are China, Singapore, and etc.

In year 2006, Fancy Rice Intertrade built an additional warehouse to suit our fast business growth. In the meantime, TRR Rice Mill also built supplementary 10 silos for stocking a large amount of paddy, up to 20,000 tons in capacity.

In the following year, TRR Rice Mill decided to increase a production capacity up to 700 to 1,000 metric tons per day to support Fancy Rice Intertrade’s current orders.

Fancy Rice Intertrade’s target markets grew again to cover Middle East market in year 2008. In the following year, we opened another production plant for “parboiled rice” with high technology with a capacity of 600 - 800 tons per day.

We have been in the rice trading business since 2000 and we’re particularly proud of our history of innovation and inspiration. It gives us confidence that our story is far from over, and that we are set to become an even stronger presence on the world’s rice industrial stage.
